Georgia Darnell Physiotherapy works in partnership with The Paddock Pool ( TPP Hydrotherapy) providing specialist land-based rehabilitation, physiotherapy services and aquatic therapy/medical hydrotherapy.

We welcome case management patients with complex orthopaedic trauma and musculoskeletal presentations as their predominant injury.

Our domiciliary service offers early input for patients following discharge from hospital and who may not be mobile enough to get to the centre. We can offer this service for patients with approximately a one-hour drive time of the clinic.

The majority of these patients will benefit from being treated by the same practitioner for both their hydrotherapy and land-based physiotherapy treatments.

Georgia has extensive experience in treating patients following major trauma having worked at Cambridge University Hospitals for 12 years. She has worked across acute trauma and orthopaedics and musculoskeletal outpatients providing both land-based and aquatic rehabilitation. During this time, she worked closely with the Limb Reconstruction Team and has specialist knowledge in the management of complex lower limb fractures with internal and external devices.

Over the last 3 years she has worked with this client group in the private sector providing longer term rehabilitation to maximise functional outcome. She also has experience with amputee rehabilitation and has worked closely with Dorset Orthopaedics with multiple patients. She is skilled in working with large multi-disciplinary teams and offers thorough report writing on assessment and for further recommendation.
